Yessireeee, another state actually has real lawyers working! I wonder why CA, of all places, would not put this through. If it was such a slam dunk (just ask po and curt), CA of all places would have put it through.

California voters will have the option to select former President Trump in the 2024 GOP presidential primary despite calls from the state’s lieutenant governor to remove him from the ballot.

Secretary of State Shirley Weber certified the list of candidates Thursday night.

The decision from the Golden State came hours after Maine’s secretary of state disqualified the GOP front-runner from the ballot – a move that comes in the wake of a similar ruling from the Colorado Supreme Court.

The divided court ruled that Trump is ineligible to run for the presidency under the US Constitution’s insurrection clause, arguing that his actions fueled the deadly Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol by right-wing protesters aiming to disrupt congressional certification of President Biden’s 2020 election victory.

Activists in other states, such as Oregon, have asked election officials to remove the former president from their states’ primary ballots under Section 3 of the 14th amendment.

The secretary of state had faced pressure to kick the former president off the 2024 ballot from California Lieutenant Gov. Eleni Kounalakis, who urged her in a Dec. 20 letter “to explore every legal option” for removal.

Weber responded two days later that there were “complex legal issues surrounding this matter,” and she pledged to “place the sanctity of these elections above partisan politics.”

There are some, even among progressives, who recognize that this republic is, actually, an EFFINrepublic in which the right to hold free and fair elections is the bedrock liberty. Some progressives even, apparently, cotton to the rule of law, and due process and still stand for this as a nation "of the people, by the people and for the people."

Not po, of course, nor Curt. Baha.

It seems to me, od, that California simply didn't want to deal with the hassle. And as he has no actual chance of ever winning the state, they probably see it as a moot issue not worth wasting funds on.

So, po, Californians are, simply, EFFINlazy? No concern for the rule of law, eh?
